Director, Program Management
The Director, Program Management is responsible for all aspects of Product Team project management and ensuring that all Product Team activities are proactively planned and managed. The key focus of this role is to drive a cross functional Product Team to achieve program milestones and deliverables.
This position is based out of our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA with at least 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure operational execution of product team strategies by:
Creation and ongoing management of detailed cross functional integrated program plans
Communication and management of risks and issues
Facilitation of product team meetings
Creation of program status reports for senior leadership
Tracking of critical business events (and related contingency plans) that could impact the programs
Manages vendors, establishes vendor management plans, and reviews quality metrics as required
Manages project budgets and oversight of outsourced service providers
Communicates status of the project and program portfolio to all key stakeholders and the Leadership Team as required
Requirements
MS, PharmD, or PhD required
5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
Experience and an understanding of all phases of biologic drug development
Experience in applying program management capabilities in a small pharmaceutical/biotechnology company
Able to work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
Possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Possess strong organizational skills with strong ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize
Thrive in a fast pace, start-up environment and manage shifting priorities with ease
A team player that everyone seeks—respectful, collaborative, willing to pitch in when needed
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
